Miners Jubilee is a 3-day celebration of the county's gold mining heritage that has been held annually in one form or another since the late 1800s. Miners Jubilee is held on the third weekend of July in Baker City, Oregon. Miners Jubilee makes the heritage and history of Baker County come to life with a parade, vendors in the park, a huge food court, sidewalk fair, mining demonstrations, and kids’ activities. There are well over 100 vendors in the park this year! They will be open from 9 to 6, Friday and Saturday and 9 to 1 p.m., Sunday. Friday afternoon, catch a free ride on a horse-drawn wagon, departing from Grove Street, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Pro Bronc Riding Friday night at 7 p.m., parade Saturday at 11 a.m., downtown, and Bull Riding Saturday night at 7 p.m., help create a full weekend of events that draws family and class reunions to Baker City every year.
This year's featured music acts on the pavilion stage include Strutz (from Colorado), Sequoia Rose (California), Elwood (Oregon), Bag of Hammers (Oregon), and Camille Hearne (Oregon).
